About Emilia
I am a qualified Craniosacral Therapist, registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA), and a qualified Coach.
Before moving into therapeutic work, I spent many years working in business transformation and as an Agile Coach. I supported people and teams through periods of change within large UK organisations.
Having worked in corporate environments, I understand the pace of working life, busy schedules, competing priorities and the pressure to keep things moving. I also know how easy it can be to put your own needs further down the list.
Alongside my professional work, I am a mother to two teenage daughters. Family life has given me first-hand experience of the different changes, transitions and demands that can come at different stages of life.
My move into therapeutic work grew from my experience of working with people through change and my growing interest in what happens beneath the surface of our experiences.
From Coaching to Craniosacral Therapy
My work has always involved supporting people through change.
As a coach, I have supported people through transitions and periods of change in busy work environments.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in what happens beyond the way we think about a situation. I became curious about how we experience things in our bodies, and how our relationships, circumstances and past experiences can influence how we respond to what is happening in our lives.
This led me to train in Craniosacral Therapy and develop my therapeutic practice.
For me, the two areas of work are connected, but they are not the same. Coaching gives us a way to explore situations through conversation and reflection, while Craniosacral Therapy offers a different way of working through the body.
My Training
I trained in Integrated Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London.
I have continued my training and professional development in:
-
Fascial Unwinding
-
Distant Craniosacral Integration — Level 1
-
Trauma
My coaching background includes a qualification in Agile Transformation Coaching, alongside ongoing development in Systemic Coaching with Constellations. This has developed my interest in systems, relationships, belonging and the patterns that can influence how we experience situations in our lives.
A space to pause, explore and reconnect
People are different, and what feels right will vary from person to person. Some may prefer a therapeutic approach, while others may feel more comfortable with coaching.
My role is to meet you where you are and work with you in the way that feels most appropriate for what you are looking for.
